Magic. The smell was sweet like suntouched honey, all golden and sticky. Elves. It couldn't be any other that could weave such a stinking mass of magic to protect themselves. Turning a little she spied the glint of rainbowed prisms bouncing from the glittering water. Dragon's sight was better than Forgotten's and what she saw made her grin toothily. She'd had the appetizer, now it looked like the main course was about to be served. If she was lucky she might even find dessert. She had heard that children were sweet if you caught them young enough, and were delicious when toasted.....kind of like marshmallows. Turning in a controlled spiral that faced her in the right direction, she beat her wings against the still air and arrowed towards the flying speck that had been identified as a Forgotten.
