There was always pain, but in the end, there was always peace.

The guardians endured it as always, even though the world around them, the invisible one they protected was crumbling.

The Weave's song was distorted, as though playing through gallons of water and mud. It sounded hurt, torn. But all the guardians could do were repain the small patches of holes forming on their side. As for the heart of the Weave...it would repair itself in time, but only after the cataclysmic events ceased.

Over head, two dragon creatures flew, unaware of the multitude of eyes watching them from below.

Every creature, Guardian and Shadow Watcher alike, were watching them.
