The cat tilted its head, watching its bretheren take the angel woman instead of the Forgotten he had "warned." Crimson eyes narrowed in suspicion, the gem on his head flickering its purple light in annoyance. He had been lied to. And that wasnn't wise. He heard all the thoughts of his bretheren, and none of them thought anything strange about this. But he knew. He could hear it. Though the voices thought themselves inaudiable, he heard them with perfect clearity.

The trap has been sprung my friend. Perhaps this new bishop will prove far more entertaining than the Rainbow piece. It will only be a matter of time before we have the Queen in our grasp.

This was all a chess game to them. The Queen he could only guess. He didn't know. But whatever plans they had for the angel woman would only cause repurcussions toward the child of chaos.

His long tail flicked, and he returned to his post watching the forgotten girl, traveling by shadowed, he was faster than light, and would be there to see the Wyrd arrive.

All it would take was a word and he could foil the plotting of these "voices" but not yet. It was time to see what mischief could be wrought by those who were left to run wild and unchecked.

Even the Shadow Watchers had as much power as the Guardians, but unchecked by any oath. And they were more deadly should they choose to be.

As god made angels, the devil made his counters for each one.
