At first it was like a dream sequence, the prodding awake by Wyrd and the message that Lashana was in trouble.....or rather would be if she wasn't warned. She had stood to watch Wyrd race off through the trees, and felt only a slight tingle as the shadows flowed around her. It was when she realized that this was no dream and that the shadows were more than what they seemed that she choked on the fear that flooded her. She didn't even have time to scream, the shadows forbade it by cutting off the sound before it escaped her lips. Nothing to see, nothing to touch, she strained her ears to hear what might have done this. All she heard was a distant chuckle and ice ran down her spine, and when the words stating that she would be fine providing her guardian did as he was bid only caused her blood to freeze in her veins. This was definately not a good day.
