Dawn had come and gone, along with the presence she had felt earlier. When light had filtered down through the overhanging branches, she packed up what she could, and left the canopy draped over some trees to dry. The storm had passed some time ago, leaving the area sparkling with a sense of renewed life. Perched on an outcropping of rock she had waited to see if her traveling companions would return, and by the time the sun was well over the horizon and on it's way towards it's zenith she grew bored. Rolling up the now dry canopy she attached it to the rest of her packs, and stood. If her companions returned she would not be here, but she left a marker showing the direction she had gone in. Perhaps they would catch up to her later, assuming they still were willing to travel with her.
