Azreal turned, midnight black fur hardly stirred by the thin breeze that momentarily swirled around him. Some creatures were of neither light nor dark, but only guardians in the true sense of the word. His tail flicked behind him, last thing seen before the massive wolf bounded away in shadow. He had been built specifically to guard, just as the Wyrd had. Not chaos, but order.
