The mare kept on moving forward, but turned when Aragorn let out a shout of pain. She moved back to the forest, were her Master lay upon the ground in a sea of Orc corpses.

Aragorn's nose was bloodied, his lip split, a cut on his arm, his hand scraped and a deep gash in his leg. It oozed sluggishly and seemed to be slowly turning black. He was alive, for his chest rose and fell, but would he last?
