The Mackville Harvest Festival pageants now accepting applications! Mackville is a small town in Washington County, centered between Harrodsburg, Danville, and the Lebanon/Springfield areas. These pageants are open to everyone in the state of Kentucky, and while they do not advance on to a state competition they are organized, fun, and offer good experience for other pageants. The pageants are currently in their 6th year and have crowned many winners that have gone on to be successful in the MAO, Miss Kentucky Teen USA, and County Fair systems. We invite you to join us this October! Just email us at harvestfestivalpageants@yahoo.com and we will forward you the information and an application.
Saturday, Oct. 14th- $25 entry fee, division is determined by your age on the day of the pageant. Check in at 12:00, rehearsal to follow, pageant begins at 3:00. There is also an optional photogenic competition that is $10 to enter. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.
(9-10) Miss Pre-Teen
(11-13) Miss Jr. Teen
(14-17) Miss Teen
(18-22) Miss Harvest Festival
We also have informal contests for little ones. This is on Sunday, Oct. 15th- $5.00 entry fee and you enter at the door, however we will send you the application in advance if you like. The attire is “Sunday Best”. Register from 2:00-2:45, contests begin at 3:00. Contestants compete individually, not in pairs.
