• He trailed in after her, quiet as always after anything work-related - he spent far too much time going back over what he should have or could have done differently, where he needed and what he could do to improve... Something was bugging her - he could tell, it was just a feeling he got - but he didn't push the issue just yet, knowing she hated to admit weakness. "Want a drink?" • "Sure." She let out a soft breath, her eyes closing as soon as he was gone. She released a low breath, her hand moving to press against her side to try and stop the throbbing pain there. Her pretty green eyes were closed as she laid her head back and bit back a low groan of pain. She could act tough, she was fine. She was pissed that she had come in behind Colin - though it should have been expected with her just coming off injury - and was beating herself up because she should have done better and she felt she hadn't shown her full potential. • He didn't doubt she was and had been impressed with her performance - especially given she was coming off an injury, and that women's times were typically a fraction off the men's, just due to sheer physical differences. She had gotten chewed by Sullivan for not keeping up with her physicians appointments, but they whole thing was just a bunch of bullshit check up used as an excuse to keep her monitered. She sighed softly, leaning back against the couch and closing her eyes once more, smiling as her kitten jumped up next to her - but then inhaling sharply as he leaned against her ribs.
