Subject: TIME I STEPPED IN

Hi girls, Anne brought my attention to this, and after reading it, thought I better say a bit. How nice it is to see so many people support Rachel and other girls who have won their respected titles, and are still not "selected" for squad. Before the "by the bookers jump" on here and start spouting mince about trials etc, DONT. Heard it all before.Head coach should decide who gets in, its her squad, I have said this in the past and I shall stick by it, just dont have everyone trecking to trials eh. Rachel could not make trials coz of holiday, Nadia was happy to trial her a couple of days later. Rachel had been ill prior to the trial and both Anne and I thought it would be a good idea to cancel, as Rachel "wasnt worth a button" and would struggle badly. Rachels answer was, "but if Nadia sees I am still willing to make the effort, she will see I want to be in the squad" I have no answer to that, probably thats been my proudest and saddest moment with regards to her and RG. Any way i think its time we left this and moved on to the girls in the squad and start giving them, plaudits, encouragement and new goals to take RG onto better things. Congrats to all the girls who have been selected for squad.Also a huge well done well done coaches and squad who went to Australia and did RG proud

PS. Its Rachel who's shape is not right for RG, and I will still be feeding her McDs, and kebabs and chocolate if she so desires.
