I am unattached to any rg club-and love the sport-attending as many competitions as I can! I am becoming completely disillusioned ,tho, with the choice of gymnasts made for top competitions.
No disrespect to Kerrie Denton, but Rachel Smith beat her comfortably in every routine, looking fantastic at both the British and British Individuals this year, and it seems so unfair that she, along with Rachel MaGuire, who is also a joy to watch and beat Kerries scores at the British, are again going to miss out on such an amazing opportunity.
Rachel Smith has been overlooked for the LG international, the Europeans and now the Youth Olympics.
She must be totally devastated, and be wondering, like the rest of us, why this is happening.
It leaves me with a very bad feeling about British Gymnastics decisions-and how they reach them??.
