I believe the game is tomorrow night which is Tuesday. Can someone please let SID know about the error in the Game Notes?

It sounds like Herbie did a good job covering KeeKee during the second half yesterday. Does Herbie and his defensive quickness draw the assignment to cover Burtt? Burtt is a bigger, more physical guard than KeeKee. I wonder if Todd or Bell might be the better defensive player to handle Burtt.

Duh- We've all made mistakes, but not all of us have editors that have a job to check and re-check facts before putting to print (post). It may be a small error, but it's embarrassing.

You know I am getting sick and tired of this crap. Did I call SID incompetent? Did I call for his job? No, I simply pointed out the error seeking clarification as to whether the game was Tuesday or Thursday and to hopefully clear up the confusion. Then I am chastised, yet again, by Duh, a clear friend of SID based on past posts. You want negative posting then check out this post from the Fordham MB landing a major personal attack on their AD.

Frank's response to the Hill barbs clearly shows that he is completely divorced from reality and a puppet AD at best.
How on gods green earth can this man sit there, read a pack of inane comments from the worst coach in Fordham history, and respond by saying that the man left with a lot of class? Hill and class are mutually exclusive terms.
Why do they allow this man to even speak with the media? Hill left in a firestorm of crazy comments, the worst record in Fordham basketeball history, a heap of unqualified players and the audacity to publicly rip the school to shreds. Frank is so far out to lunch we would be better off with no atheltic director at all.
The man is a living disgrace.

I also follow the Ohio State Buckeyes and the posting on their MB is even worse. I could give countless examples of posts full of nasty personal attacks. My agenda here is plain and simple. Support the Stags. If you can't handle a posts simply pointing out an error in a press release being read by confused fans who will be attending the game, then perhaps you are in the wrong business my friend.

The Fordham AD is a joke. Don't know how he's kept his job all these years. Scary part is he was Gene Doris' boss for a few years. Doris learned from the worst.

Did somebody let the SID staff know that its an error?????
I am surprised that an error like this has taken on so much controversy. The game is tonight.
Since I have made that same error a few times in my career (having the date right, but the day wrong), I guess I would feel upset if someone broadcasted it over the company intranet without telling me or giving me a chance to fix it.

Everyone makes mistakes, we all have but the important fact is that the SID should be aware of this so as not to have it happen again. It does not reflect well on Fairfield Athletics. The original post, I did not think sounded sarcastic or critical of the SID but as long as they know that should end the controversy. Go Stags!
