I hate to say it, but I think someone did die once during a Fordham/Fairfield game. Wasn't it the grandmother of one of the players?

Troy Bradford's grandmother. They stopped the game and had to resume it at Rose Hill, in a doubleheader of sorts. I believe that Fordham won both games by the same score.
