While this game "on-paper" looks like a toss-up (I think Fordham is actually better, all things considered)it is a very winnable game for Fairfield. I look for a squeeker, perhaps a one point victory for the Stags. (MAAC squads should really beat the Fordhams of this world).

Too bad the game is in Br'Port. It will probably be poorly attended, which won't help you with the home court advantage as much as it should. Can't you guys schedule some of these games back on campus and get out of that Arena?

If Fairfield can't get a win against Fordham tonight, hang up the Keds and concentrate on next year. This IS a winnable game as long as your coach doesn't blow it in the final 2 minutes (although he's up against another "over his head guy in DW).

Our friends over on the Fordham board want to bet the house on this one. They seem extremely confident that they will thump us. If we play like we did against Proividence and Iowa, we come away with a win. If we play like we played against St. Joes and Gtown, I'm gonna be shaking my head at how it is possible to let up THAT many points to Fordham. I hope we have an inspired game, and that the veterans remember last year's game. It's payback time.
