Fordham 2-6 and Stags 1-6. Both teams have lost games they should have won, and at home too. We are at home, and this is a revenge game for us, so hopefully those two intangibles are in our favor. The other aspect is that Fordham just came off a huge win at Virginia, and we were dominated by Georgetown. So hopefully the Rams are over-confident and we are hungrier. I think most signs point to a close game.

6-2 Jermaine Anderson has been great from the arc making about 3 a game and is their leading scorer at 16.6ppg. His namesake at PG Eric Anderson is averaging 2.5ppg. Bryant Dunston is a talented 6-8 center who is playing just like last year at 16ppg and 7rpg. He is very athletic and we have to keep him off the boards. 6-5 Marcus Stout (12.9ppg) is probably the key swing player in all this as he can be great at times and inconsistent at other times. The rest of the team lack the same type of talent. They will start 6-8, 6-7 and 6-5 up front.

We are shooting a good 38.5% from the arc, but that is not an advantage if our oppoenents are hitting 38.9%. We got to solve that problem. In addition to the inside defense problem where our opposition is shooting 51.4. I would expect to see Middleton probably start to help there. Bell could be a key as he might get the call to cover Stout. Our other guards have to defend the 3 (yes we do miss Goode and Kudjo here). Could see more of Herbie after a good game vs G-town. Han and MVS have to give us more offense.

With Middleton's improved play, when will the time come that he can crack the starting lineup?

Since he has played equal minutes to Carter in the last 3 games and he has played better defensively and rebounding, I would think that tonight might be the night.
