Reindeer fan, you are a little confused. The 40 footer at the end of the game was by MVS. That was an entertaining game that perhaps could have been won if we had MOS. My only criticism is that I think Reedal should be getting more minutes. He is 6'6'' and can shoot. He needs to get his feet wet because he is going to be a player for us. I also disagree with your assessment of Todd. With no inside game he and Ogelsby were the only ones going to the basket. That last charge called on him was ridiculous. That could have put us up with less than 2 minutes in the game. I now truly believe that those 3 goons (Big East Refs.) were not going to let a big east team lose to us. Hahn was the best player on the floor.

Fate is always against Fairfield. This was a tremendous effort wasted. Everything was set up for an upset..we had just lost by 30 so Providence was ready to mail this one in. THEN MOS gets hurt.. Why is it always something? The fans are constantly teased but get absolutely no satisfaction. We should been on the front page of the Sports section today folks.. had MOS or Max played.

Our highest priority has to be a natural center who isn't a project. Go after 25 of them for godsake, but land one. Our void has to be the ripest opportunity in the entire country if you're a big man.

JS,

IMO,

MVS had a quiet 14 points. He seems capable of more aggressiveness. With Han's ball handling, penetration and passing skills, MVS will have many open shots. The offense went to the hoop early, working off high screens, until Providence adjusted.

Providence's high shooting percentage was result of penetration by guards and dishing off for layups. Providence must have nearly 20 layups.

DO was mainly shooting from the outside, although he did go stroong to the hoop on occassion. Worked hard for his shots, but also benefited from Han's assists.

Han seemed to have no problem with Curry's or anyone elses defense. although the team struggled when Providence pressed.
