Don't know what defense we played vs Providence, but the radio announcers described it as an extended match-up zone. It seemed the big difference between St Joes and Providence was that we were more passive and ineffective in all aspects vs St Joes, while we were agressive vs Providence, and at lest caused a lot of turnovers.

The high FG% of Providence was disturbing, but I don't think we can just sit back and play "D". Even at St Francis we started with a zone, but I think we were more effective when we put pressure on the ball. Agree that mixing up the "D" has to be done.
