And Holly gal, my heart breaks for you over the loss of your cat; I'm so very sorry. Someone furry has been waiting on the other side for her old friend, right? I bet their reunion was magical, that they're playing like kittens again without old bodies to slow them down even a smidge.

Oh, and my dad? Takes after XH, or XH takes after Dad. In any case, I'm already prepared for the "I already have one of those" (what he doesn't say:...that is fourteen years old and falling apart), the "that cost too much and so I don't need that's" (to the point that he's mad at you for a gift that you wanted him to have and that he'd like if he could lose the worry about the price tag), and the wordless look that makes you wonder what you've done wrong gift-ally now. ;) He's impossible to buy for. If you ask him, he just wants socks and underwear. Has wanted that and only that ever since I was born, for every holiday. ;) He's getting a jacket, a series of books, and a grill. Pray for me?
