It goes way back to when Lesley Webber was pregnant with some guy (not Rick Webber - they weren't married yet, but they were getting serious and he was going to take care of her and the baby)'s kid, and Monica was all perturbed and accidentally caused Lesley to fall down a bunch of stairs and lose the baby. That's the first time I remember seeing it anyway. So, we're talking, like, 25 years back already. Since then, Carly, more than once I think, Liz Webber, did Sam take a header???, Courtney went off a boat, and that's just since Sonny came back to the show.
