Hi! May I butt in? .....pause....ok, thanks...For good or ill I nursed my two girls until they were, well, over two....like, well...quite a bit over...I also had them in bed with me most of the time when they were infants. I did natural and primitive big time. Really. I went with the "give them a swig when they are hungry. Carry them around close to you."(Could this be why my spouse begged, pleaded, implored that we get a permanent fix after my third baby?)

In spite of my checkered maternal past I am now working as a developmental therapist. I work with parents and babies in an early intervention program. I am also teaching four courses (two institutions)in communication and social psych.

Anyway, a little bird encouraged me to check out this site some time ago. (I lurked here in the distant past.) So, here I am and hi and all that to Holly, Is, and anyone else around that I used to post with and who may remember me, and I am catching you up on what I am doing work-wise, which is very different from when I used to post.

Oh, if you are working on the two daughters, but *three* kids thing...My son (first-born) I switched to a bottle at about three months and I didn't really do the family bed thing...and...well..nuff said.

I don't want to state my preference too loudly or dogmatically. grin.

Oh, the heir just went to S. Korea this week. Sniffsobmoan. I knew he would go *somewhere* but I was hoping for a cheaper airfare place. His chief goal in life seems to be to live somewhere different every year or go somewhere different every year. He is teaching english in S. Korea. The night before he left I heard him ***casually*** telling his gramma that after his contract was done, he was probably going to get to Mongolia and join some throat singers? Don't ask. I am not clear on that deal at all. I just know that during the time between his things that he was living at our house for a few weeks that very odd sounds came out of his room.

Thanks for letting me ramble and narrate. Again, greetings to all. M&M, if you are around, the chances to be your mother-in-law are looking bleaker unless you have a huge wanderlust also.
