Julia Barr, Rebecca Buddig, and Eva LaRue Callahan are all awesome at what they do - it's just what they have to do on AMC that sucks. Marcie Walker is another wasted talent. It totally baffles me, because GH is just the opposite. They keep no-talent floosies front and center every day in storylines/characterizations that COULD be interesting if the actresses had the chops to carry it off. They do have some talent - RC, CP, NLG, JE - available, but you barely get to see them between TB and ALW's closeups. OLTL probably has the best "stable" but there's no one left for them to play: all of the female characters have been warped beyond recognition with no attempt - except for Viki and Dorian - to rehabilitate them. I liked Blair and felt for her last week, but until they put some more sense back into that pointy head of hers (and by that I mean she has to realize that the only way she could not have known Walker was Todd was that on some level she did not want to know) I'm not nibbling that tired old worm.

And the good actresses on OLTL still do not get the airtime or attention that the weak ones (BW, JM, SW, MA, Little McBitch) get.

So, what's worse? Having to watch good actresses playing yucky characters in whom I can invest on a negative level? Or having to sit through hours of crappy "acting" to get a glimpse of someone who is, at least, good at her job?
