L&O pretty much pre-dates the post-OJ crime reenactment/solution shows on A&E and CourtTV, but CSI and now Cold Case take their names directly from those shows. So, what you really have are dramas that are based on dramatizations. I don't have a point. Just that I enjoy the shows when I get to seem them.
