>>I love CSI Las Vegas, but hate the Miami version. Weird, but I think it's my intense dislike of David Caruso and my intense LIKE of everyone in the Las Vegas cast.

That's exactly how I feel...Miami might be based on a similar formula, but its the cast of Las Vegas as much as what the show is all about that makes it stellar. Like Gil Grissom's William Petersen, I resent a little that the network just assumes the fan following is all about concept and that reaction should be the same. I've never liked David Caruso, and the rest of the cast leaves me cold, too.

A big chunk of the allure of CSI: LV is Grissom, what an satirical enigma he is, and that sexy eyebrow of his when he wants to be especially enigmatic. ;)

Now CSI: New York will probably be set to go for the Fall season, and as the cast of the original feels less appreciated for their role in the show's success, I don't know if I want to give it a shot or not. Once again, I guess it will be very dependent on cast and cast chemistry, so I don't think the network should automatically look at it as 'if we build it and set it in a new city, they will come.'

Even if it is New York. ;)
