So are you saying that because we drool on a message board over a blatant crotch shot of a man who is known for taking his shirt off, that THAT is the reason we get shitty soap opera storytelling?

If that is what you're saying (and maybe I misinterpreted), then I disagree. Look around this board, the tenor of discussion does not generally lean towrds the smutty dirty old ladies type of convo.

But let's be real here...Ty pimps it out, and we'd be remiss to not notice.

I think shitty storytelling is the result of a lot of different things. Pandering to the lowest common denominator is only one.
