Is Kevin's political ambitions. Hispanics are going to end up the swing vote in the elections in this country in the future. THAT's why savvy politicans are so loathe to talk about illegal immigration. That's why some savvy politicians are marrying Hispanics. That's why some savvy politicans are learning how to speak Spanish fluently.

In fact, I think the Hispanics pretty much DECIDED the 2000 Presidential election, NOT the Supreme Court. George Bush didn't beat Al Gore; ELIAN GONZALES DID. Dade County, that used to vote overwhelmingly Democratic soundly trounced Gore because Cuban-Americans could not forget that Janet Reno removed Elian Gonzales from their custody by force and returned him to Castro.

That's why I'm surprised that Aspiring Politician Kevin Buchanan came back married to Kelly Cramer, the woman whose marriage he broke up was also his brother's. Kelly would be more of a liability to him than Blair herself.

Him coming back with Tea Delgado on his arm made more sense. She had all the credentials. She's young, beautiful, Harvard-educated, polished, finished and most importantly as a Hispanic, she could pull that swing vote. One assumes she spent her time away from Todd as a successful working attorney. Last, but not least, having partial ownership of the Sun through Tomas Delgado Manning would give her husband a foot in the door to controlling the local media. Tea Delgado would be very much an asset to Kevin.
