With or without Todd. At least it does if both Blair and Tea are being written well. A Blair-Tea-Kevin triangle works so much better, for obvious reasons, than a Blair-Kelly-Kevin triangle. Especially if Tea and Blair both have Todd's babies.

And, if Todd's in town, it's good for yards of drama. Because, you know, even if Todd is happily in love with Blair, he's not going to like seeing Tea with Kevin or Kevin playing Big Daddy with the TnTot. This is a proven plot device with historical support that avoids the happy couple dilemma for writers who for whatever reason don't know how to make one of those look interesting. Whom will he choose? My money's on Blair; others are betting on Tea, and we're all watching the horserace. And who's to say the one he chooses ultimately wants him? Is it original? Yes. The way every new sonnet is original. You have a structure, and within those confines, you can express ANYthing.
