I am surprised a developed country, like USA, these days isusing punchedpaper which was used in india for school exams for multiple choice question/answers.Why cant they invest in electronic machines 4every polling booth.surprised..they have more missiles and bombs than voting machines worth a good nfair result

I wouldn't compare with bombs.
I would compare with the costs of the electoral campaign.
Summed up over both parties, they spent more than $4bio, yes that is $4,000,000,000 or: $40 for every person who did choose to go voting.
Would be sufficient to buy a cell phone with a unique identifier for EACH voter and simply let them dial 0-800-GO-KERRY or 0-800-BUSH-4-US and after 1 call block that incoming number.
Plus, everyone would have a free cell phone, yet one more reason to go voting :)
