adrenaline did not leave the vampire untouched as well, vision narrowing down further so that everything blurred but movement, which shone through with a grain-like precision and accuracy. heartbeat of the other pounded in his ears, the rushing of blood through veins making the thirst rise in himself. ears picked up the tightening of muscles, the squish as things shifted with the body. both were indeed fine-toned hunters, the question was, who was the best? ..
