The knife rubbing against his kissers though he held it firm, ignoring the salty sweet taste running down his throat. forepaws moving forward to take leverage from the Vamps chest unless he moved. using finely toned muscles with prefect efficiency.

.. vampire's grip was fast to the weapon, but he was unable to move out of the way of the beast's paws for fear of losing the weapon and from mind-clouding due to the blood. not that he couldn't fight bare-handed, but he preferred to not use mind-powers against an animal. besides, he liked the garden too much to risk ruining it. that and he knew it would bring poor Hayden to tears if his garden was destroyed.
