In reply to: Meri 's message, "~And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin!~" on 19:27:08 09/03/04 Fri

*he listened to her outburst silently, understanding how she picked up that opinion and point of view, and knowing that he had contributed to it. He nodded when she told him she was ready, and moved off to shift as well. He chose a slightly larger bird, and one of his favorites of the not-quite-predatory sort, a raven. With the sound of snapping and shifting bones, the black wings and black feathers he missed so much came back. His skin grew darker, what was visible of it, as bird feet formed. And lastly, the nice black beak. His shift too about as long as hers, since he’d made a point of practicing, especially a raven. He shook his feathers put, spreading his wings. Boy that felt good. He took an awkward step forward, preening quickly to make sure his wings were right. He then looked up at where Meria was, and with a few more flaps landed on the branch near her. Flying was like riding a bike, you never quite forgot how to do it, and it was easy to remember and hold out for the sensation* I’m ready. Let’s go *he dropped down from the branch, circling the tree and above the wolf*
