The punishment of playing 'Happy Corner' should be at least a suspension from school and a major demerit instead of a minor demerit. We all know a positive reinforcement is a better remedy than a negative reinforcement. However, we are talking about a punishment of a misbehavior which is a physically abuse to the other human being. It indeed affects the victim psychologically in a long run. If there is no further action taken to warn the rest of the students, what could students do in order to protect themselves from being ¡¥corned¡¦? The previous messages left by some students are really frightening - the authority knew that the happy corner has been going around in this school for some time.
