COm certeza, este seu trecho é uma provocação pesada. É muito forte o que o autor coloca: “In many ways language teachers are the worst possible people to teach languages. They are unusual, because they succeeded in learning languages themselves! It is important to remember that of every student who has learnt a language well enough to become a teacher of that language, hundreds of students have ‘failed’. Not only have they failed to learn the language, but often the experience has been negative and
anti-educational.” (LEWIS, 1986, p.15, §5).

Mas esse fracasso, segundo o autor, é atribuido ao professor, exclusivamente. Isso, sabemos, que não é verdade. Pelo menos, quando eu discuti sobre isso com você, falamos muito nesta questão sobre culpa... Lembra-se?
Anti-educacional? O que seria anti-educacional para o autor? Ele esclarece isso posteriormente?

Além disso, como um aluno autônomo pode permitir que o processo seja um 'fracasso' e anti-educacional? Um autonomo nao exerce controle sobre seu processo de aprendizagem? Não é responsável por ele? Precisa sim da mediação do professor, de seu guia, mas não está condicionado a ele. Não concorda?
