A discussão sobre motivação é de grande interesse pois parece ser uma das importantes keys no ensino e aprendizado de L2.Segundo SCHÜTZ(2003) "motivation is a propulsive inner force,of decisive importance in the development of a human being.As in learning in general, the act of learning language is active,not passive. It is not about subjecting yourself to a treatment, but about constructing an ability. It is neither the teacher who teaches, nor the method that works; it is the student who learns. For that reason, learner motivation in language learning is a key element.(p.1)". Para nos ajudar algumas sugestões são dadas: procure saber o que os motiva, gaste um certo tempo com isso,faça uma avalação da sua motivação,fazer atividades divertidas não quer dizer que sejam fáceis,faça do seu material didático algo atrativo mudando a forma de conduzir e as técnicas usadas, demonstre sua competência como professor explicando o objetivo de cada atividade,valorize a performance do aluno, transforme reclamações em fatores de motivação,e mude sua abordagem/approach. Quem sabe assim seja plausível e mais palpável lidar com os tais motivos intrínsecos e extrínsecos.
Vamos tentar decifrar este enigma!
