Parece-me que essas contradições são aparentes. É claro que há o risco do professor se acomodar e se tornar mero recurso lingüísitico, sem iniciativa, apenas respondendo às questões dos alunos, mas na verdade, num ambiente de aprendizado autônomo, o professor trabalha ainda mais, pois ele deve ensinar, além dos aspectos lingüísticos, estratégias, ou seja, ele deve ensinar como aprender. Além disso, deve estar constantemente monitorando o aprendizado e instigando doses de autonomia nos alunos. Facilitador, conselheiro e recurso não englobam, para mim, tudo o que o professor deve fazer, mas sim o que ele deve fazer além do que faz no ensino tradicional não-autônomo.
