Pelo que tenho lido, pude observar que h� contradi��es entre a opini�o dos autores sobre o que vem a ser realmente autonomia. Para alguns ser aprendiz aut�nomo independe do professor, enquanto para outros existe, al�m de uma depend�ncia, uma responsabilidade.
Para Peter Voller (p.107) "There is a paradox about the teacher�s role in independent language learning; the truly autonomous learner would not need a teacher at all. Equally, autonomuy is not a gift that can be handed over by the teacher to the learner, so is autonomy unteachable? Yet much of the literature states that learners need to be taught to be autonomous".
