Subject: Science and business finally embrace the obvious.

Science and business are finally embracing a fact that we have long known and utilized here at casa de lynx, that silver has antibacterial properties. Because, hey, there's a buck to be made there. :-)

Fact: There are at least fifteen bacteria, including staph, that cannot live in the presence of silver.

There's also growing evidence that it boosts the immune system and may have antiviral properties. One of the women to whom I provide colloidal silver has lupus. Last week she started with a new doctor, who asked why she had used less prednisone in the past couple of years, and she told him that she had been using colloidal silver. He replied "That's great! They're using it in hospitals now. Keep it up!" Just last year, her previous doctor had scoffed at her use of c-silver.

Note to parents and parent-to-be of infants and toddlers: Colloidal silver will knock out an ear infection, usually with just one application, saving your child from a lot of pain and from having to take "the pink stuff." Proven time and again in my own home.

Note to people with multiple chemical sensitivity: Colloidal silver can be used to disinfect and deodorize kitchen and bathroom surfaces.

C-silver can be used internally or topically. No need to worry about drug interactions, because it's not a drug. It's just distilled water infused with a trace amount of silver.

For an investment of about a hundred bucks, you can make your own, which I have done for a long time. Check out www.elixa.com for generators that can make a solution of 10-15 ppm, which is sufficient for most purposes and saves a LOT of money. For more severe infections, such as the cellulitis I had last year, I have had to purchase a stronger solution of about 400 ppm, which worked very nicely. Mr. Lynx takes a maintainance dosage of about two teaspoons per day, and has not suffered an acute illness in I-can't-remember-when. We highly recommend it.
