Many of the better sauces sell in smaller bottles, so you don't have to waste a lot. It's the big brand names that sell in gallon jugs.

When I first found out that the rest of the country had no idea what a pork steak was, I was shocked. It's such a BBQ staple around here. When my brother moved to Omaha, he would make sure to buy a bunch of pork steaks when he came to visit and stick them in the freezer for use all summer. (which in Omaha was about 5 days long)
