I get to see them. :-)

Usually, there will be a showing of 3-4 of them all together, usually grouped by theme or genre. They play at little arty theatres. In L.A., they are generally Laemmle, but I'm not sure if they run nationwide.

Generally, they are not the main attraction at the theatre, you have to be on e-mail lists or check the trades or throwaway papers to know when and where.
