All college football fans have become essentially like that. As a student, I recall being appalled at the behavior displayed by the students from both Cal and Stanfurd at The Big Games that I attended. What bothered me even more was how the media reported the confrontations as how horrible the Berkeley students behaved, but not the Tree-effers. (Chelsea was a student there at the time).

My main point is that I have no doubt that Ole Miss is far from unique in its poor sportsmanship and that the universities MUST make a stronger effort to improve fan behavior.
