Subject: Wildlife Tales

Nearly ran over a javelina this morning, about two blocks from my house, on my way to do the food shopping. He looked a lot like this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/12365930@N00/1082799627/
It inspired me to buy a pork roast. :-) Why are all the forest critters trying to commit road suicide this year?

A few weeks ago there was a home invasion in the neighborhood adjacent to mine; a rabid bobcat. Wouldn't you hate to have to clean up after that? Lots of rabies going around this year; in bobcats, coyotes, bats.
