Subject: I have returned

After a week in Louisiana, I returned home today. My baby stayed at LSU. So far, empty nest-hood SUCKS. *sniff

Luckily, we have had not much rain in our very small speck of neck in southeast Texas. Not that a little rain and some light winds wouldn't be welcome to cool us down from a heat index of ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN DEGREES. Holy Lord, it is hotter and more humid than I can ever remember. Green schmeen... I am running the hell out of my A/C until the temps get back down to at least 90.

Lynx, until we moved into this house I always had a laundry line for drying clothes. I quite like it for everything except towels and sheets. Actually I think it's against our deed restrictions to have one, but nobody would see it if I strung it underneath the back porch. I may see about doing that. Thanks for the reminder!
