I don't check this board for a few days and look what happens! It might be a bit late to add my 2 cents worth, but that's never stopped me before. As some of you know, I work for a gigantic retail pharmacy chain and as a field manager I have to be so pc it's frightening. We have to take all kinds of diversity training and renew it on a yearly basis. I've reached the point where sometimes I'm afraid to say that I'm wearing a black sweater for fear that the word black will offend someone! Sometimes I want to just tell everyone to lighten the hell up. Male, female, black, white or whatever other thing you are, people are just people. I'm getting kind of tired of feeling like it's some sort of crime to be white. I don't see my whiteness as an advantage or my femaleness as being a disadvantage. I'm just a person. Maybe this is too simplistic, but I think we make such a big deal out of all of this sometimes. Assholes come in every flavor and that's the only thing I discriminate against.
