I do not object to the epilogue in principle. I guess I should have clarified: I thought the quality of the epilogue was poor and it left a sour taste in my mouth at the end of a book series I have really enjoyed. I read somewhere that she it wrote years ago and included it for sentimental reasons. I wish her editor would have persuaded her to re-write it, but I don't imagine there is anything that editors can get her to to do these days.

On the bright side, I greatly enjoyed the battle between Molly and Bellatrix.

Did Hermione get another wand, or did she keep using Bellatrix's? I kept wondering that, especially during the fight with Bellatrix.
