Almost finished with this series, klutz. About halfway through book 3.

It's been good, not great, but a little corny.

King Arthur and Lancelot? When I got to that point, I almost put the books away and stopped reading.

Everyone has incredibly deep emotional ties to everyone else. Way too much weeping.

Now, I'm looking for the next thing to start reading when these are finished. I'm thinking about the one that lynx recommended called The Road.

Has anyone read the Stephen King Dark Tower series? Is it worthwhile for me to start?

How about Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials series?
