I know how you can get back at them.

I had DirecTV for years back when I (sob) still owned my house in OC. I obtained a card that you use to replace your current card on some slot in the front. The card I got had football players on it, the one that came with the system, a satellite image. I'm sure things are a bit different now. Anyway, you get the card. Then you a need a card reader and a card encoder. Then you need to know the right usenet groups for when you need to re-encode the card...

Hmm, this sounds harder than it actually was. But anyway here's the cool part: You downgrade your DirecTV service to the very minimum of all basic packages but with the new card you get EVERYTHING. I mean every channel, every PPV event and movies. The porn. God, the porn.

And best of all, you know you are getting over on The Man. Fight the power!
