There's an old AA slogan "Fake it till you make it". Just keep going to meetings. You don't have to talk, you don't have to buy into it. Just go. Sit there and listen. Call everyone in the room an asshole under your breath if you need to. But keep going. My life is full of junkies/alcoholics and every other kind of addict out there. The guy I've been seeing is 10 years clean from heroin (and everything else under the sun). He said he never thought he'd do it, but he did. And it's not easy. He tells me that every day he gets up and makes the decision not to get high. After 10 years. You always struck me as a tenacious kind of guy. You have what it takes. You just have to find the reason to want it.
