Don't even get me started on infrastructure. Did you know that MN has the second-most traffic congestion after New Jersey? That's ludicrous.

Even more ludicrous is the fact that there's been no significant infrastructure improvements in the state for the last 10 years. We've been coasting.

Worse than that, and while I'm not a fan of tax increases, is that our gas tax (proceeds going toward road maintenance) has not increased since 1986. Twenty one years. It was finally up for normalization this year but given the high price of fuel, it was a no-brainer to be vetoed. I can appreciate that, but the other 20 years? No go.

You might be interested in all the major bridges that have collapsed given your research in all bridges. Going back to the 80s, but with increasing frequency.

Seems we've all been coasting.
