Subject: Well.

I had a close friend die yesterday, and it struck me that I never did get to tell him how I felt about him and how he affected my life in such small and large ways. He was an exemplary father to five daughters, a good citizen, and a positive attitude about everything. He was also my right-hand man on PTA for two years. He was undergoing chemo because he was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months ago, but his kidneys and lungs failed this past week. He was only 45.

It's too late for me to tell him how I admired his great spirit and enthusiasm, as well as his optimism and joy for life, but it's not too late for me to tell you guys how I still do think about you and how you have all been a very positive and happy part of my life through the years.
