I would suggest u to choose option 3.
1) the demonstration outside the site is part of the performance to global media and HK citizen. Long hair will keep on demonstration upon the topic which should be instisted even after vote.
2) attend the dinner wearing your typical T-shirt or with some slogan on back.
3) well behaviour or just shake hand with the China guy to show you are educated and not a "brainless guy". If u have chance, u can speak up some slogan in front of the "target"

THERE WILL BE MANY BAD GUY THAT NIGHT WHO WANT TO SEE ANY FIGHTING. MUST BE COOL AND CLAM
