There is absolutely no contradiction if Long Hair attend the 10.1 banquet. He used to be on his own (not an elected member of Legco) and THERE WAS SIMPLY NO WAY HE CAN ATTEND SUCH BANQUET. Now he is a Legco member (elected by US!) and he MUST go representing us (his voters) and we definitely want him to go in dignity as a Legco member - not any different from the other members.
Go to the banquet (choose 3) and just enjoy the drinks (why not, life is short and we don't do demonstration every single minute of our lives).
We voters want him to go in dignity! Just go!
